ISRO chief S Somnath: India has plans to launch its first international space station, the International Space Station (ISS), in 2028
ISRO is planning to send India’s first ever international space station called the Bharat Space Station into orbit. The robotic module will weigh 8 tonnes and prepare the way for future missions, such as sending astronauts into space by 2035. The launch of this mission was confirmed by ISRO chairman S Somnath who stated that it would reach the L-1 point on January 6, providing vital data concerning the dynamics of the Sun. Today a piece of news was released from the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) which reported that India will launch its first international space station in 2028.
